I know smoking is a very bad habit and also is very harmful for health.

Have you ever tried to smoke, or you did and quit?

I have quit smoking 1 and a half years ago. I was smoking a lot. I used to smoke Iqos and I was smoking 2 1/2 packs every day.
I have been a smoker since my 17 years and since then I've quit smoking many times for some years and started it again. When I wanted to quit smoking I was doing it relatively easy. But the last time that I was doing Iqos it was very hard. It is more addictive than normal Cigarette and although I stopped it immediately (we call it in a Greek expression, I cut it 'knife') for more than a week I wanted to smoke like crazy! Finally I managed to quit it.
I like smoking but it is a very bad habit, slowly destroying our health.

I have been smoking since I was 16 - 17 years old and I managed to quit almost 8 years ago (7 years, 9 months and 16 days exactly...).
I made several attempts to quit before I succeeded. Nicotine is a hard drug! I had enough motivation in 2015 following a stroke which fortunately did not leave any after-effects.
I stopped without substitutes, but in my previous attempts I had tried patches and also nicotine chewing gum. Chewing gum is also extremely additive!

True, I'm lucky I never smoked and hopefully will never try. It's costing health, money and again health.

Can't remember, but someone said 1 cigarette is 7 days from your life. Not sure how true is that.

At least you have managed to quit smoking, not everyone can manage that. Is like a drug.

Health comes first in your life. I would say every new thing what is coming like chewing gum saying that is "healthier", that's wrong, probably more chemicals in there.
