Opinion wanted A Full View of the Cathedral

So a final picture of Winchester Cathedral, I feel I am getting to the limits of this Cybershot 200, it is a very handy and easy to use device, but of course the sensor is small. Overall I am impressed and at one point I was thinking of exploring bridge cameras further, but the sensor size is a decisive point. This shot was taken using the full zoom and in good light I was able to get pretty good definition. My next camera will be either a mirrorless or an entry level DSLR my options are either Nikon D3500 or Samsung NX 300 (or similar). Price is a deciding factor. Anyone have any advice re camera choice?

Nice image, although it would be nice to see a little more room around the top and bottom of the cathedral.
The Nikon D3400 or D3500 are great entry level cameras that will cover almost all situations, or a Canon Rebel T7.
I would stick with Nikon or Canon, and go to your local shop to touch and feel both to find out out which you are most comfortable with in your hands.
Mirrorless is pushing the price a little higher, but maybe worth the investment to you depending on your future plans.

I like the picture very much šŸ˜ . Great light on the beautiful cathedral bulding and the playing with the shadows! Looks like great British sceneries šŸ¤©.

If you want great mirrorless camera, I can fully recommend Olympus newdays Om Systems! I love this brand so much! I have been have my second Olympus camera and lot of lenses, and more on my bucket list! I have been never disappointed!!! So great quality in the small camera bodies!

This is the whole shot unedited. The foreground contains the roof of a multi story car park so including it would be a different (yet valid shot), I get what you are saying about the DSLRs. But they are bulky and the Samsung is mirrorless and small. I stopped using my 6X6 because it is just too big and fiddly to use (as well as the cost of processing). NX300 is the cheapest decent looking mirrorless, thanks for your advice, leaning slightly towards the Nikon

Great shot! Love the colors and the lighting on the church.

I have the Canon Rebel SL2 in white and love it! Its very similar to the T7 but I liked the articulating touch screen as well as some other features. Here is a link to detailed comparison of the 2 cameras. Good Luck!

The camera is indeed in its limit but the photo is very very good. It has nice texture, contrast and tones.
I will agree with Andy Smith Andy Smith. Some space up and down would help the composition to improve.
As for the cameras as Andy said go and grab them to feel them.
I've used both the D3500 and Rebel T7.
The viewfinder in the Rebel is very small in comparison with the D3500 which is large and more convenient.
Both will be an important upgrade.
As for the nx300, although it was considered a very good camera, I would leave this choice behind. It is an abandoned system from samsung. If you want to buy a camera in the form factor of nx300 then a fujifilm xe-3 (used) would be a great choice with great lens system or you could go for a sony a6000 (it is quite old but very capable) or a sony a6100. You can find them quite cheap used.
