Red Sunset

It was a boring and dull Saturday evening. I went for a walk on the park in my hometown having my camera with me as always.
The sky was cloudy, with faint dull light and blueish. This park is my every escape place and it serves as a nice nearby photo location.
Anyways times was passing by and it was about sunset time. I wasn't expecting anything to be honest. I had a slight suspicion that the sunlight might broke out deep in the horizon from a small opening I noticed far away. I was about to leave but that kept me there. In fact I was already walking beck making small stops noticing the sky. Foe a moment I stood at a nice spot from where I've taken great photos of the place.

Suddenly a pink reddish light painted the whole sky and sea! I took my camera out, set my tripod and started taking photos right away! I had a second camera body with so I didn't loose any time. While my camera was doing long exposures in sequence I took some wonderful shots with my other camera body.

I lasted only 10 minutes but it was amazing!

Great shots panos_adgr, as usual. Right place at the right time and with a little luck on the light breaking through it was well worth the visit.
Many times we sit waiting for the sunset to show, but quite often it doesn't ... Thats why we keep revisiting the same places and sometimes we are rewarded like this time.
Very nice.

Yes Andy. One visit at any destination is not enough even and if get lucky at first. I have learned through the years that to achieve a good result, to get a good photo, we need to study the place at first. The light through the day and through seasons if possible of course.
