This is not a really photo topic but always good to create one.

Lately I’m really depressed and anxious. Was thinking to go GP but not sure how they can help.

have you experienced depression in your life, if yes, how you dealt with it?

I'm not sure I'd call it depression, but a few years ago, following a break-up, a doctor friend of mine got fed up of seeing me in low spirits and ended up prescribing me an antidepressant. It worked miracles! After a while, I recovered and stopped the medication.

Does these medications has any side effects ? Most of the time I have panick attacks, thinking too much about my health, and sometimes I think I will suddenly die or have heart attack

All medicines have side effects. In my case, I haven't noticed any. Have you tried CBD cannabis? I think it's a good way to calm down. You don't need to smoke it; there are extracts that you can put under your tongue.

I never smoked in my life or took any drugs. Also, don’t think I can be such thing here in UK. Most likely the GP will prescribe some pills. Haven’t made an appointment yet.

I’m thinking maybe bacuase of the weather I could have that. I had same thing last year during the dark times. And it’s coming and going.

CBD is legal in UK and you don't have to smoke it.
On this web page, CBD is recommended for depression.

The lack of light can actually cause a bit of depression. There are lamps to remedy this. I don't know how effective light therapy is, but you could also try it.

I hope that the fine weather ahead will help you to improve your mental state.

Thanks a lot . I’ll have to check it out. I believe these needs to be prescribed by a gp.

Yes, summer is coming , so hope to get more light.

I think someone else mentioned about these lamps too. Maybe worth giving it a try.
