I had forgotten to look a some photos I took the other week. Not brilliant but thought I would share this anyway. I love the light this time of year. These are the drains that do the same job as they have in Holland. There are pumping stations around the flat lands to ensure the water gets pumped to the main rivers. The river is just over the left side and that is higher than this drain.
