On Monday 5 June 2023, I went for my first serious ride of the season. I went to a nature reserve about an hour's drive from my home for a walk that lasted just over five hours. After walking through a shady forest, I ended up in a mountain pasture surrounded by mountains, a truly magnificent place. A few clouds clung to the peaks at around 2,500 meters. Here's a first photo of the place.

As I said above, my walk began by passing through a forest where the shade and coolness allow the beautiful flowers to bloom.

Once out of the forest, the first rays of sunshine begin to fall over the surrounding peaks.

This small valley is surrounded by magnificent rock faces and a few waterfalls. There should be a glacier, but it seems that global warming has caused it to disappear...
