This was actually our last holiday we have ever had. We went to Italy for my wife's 50th birthday gift and enjoyed the countryside and the people immensely. We took a boat trip on Lake Trasimeno. Apparently It's not very deep. The clouds were looking pretty stormy, but it made for a few atmospheric pictures. I worked the magic of the Topaz software to get a good quality image. The landscape image I had on the wall, now like the others, they are all packed away in folders for the time being. Taken with a SLR and a 50mm lens. Fuji chrome film.

Love it!
When I used to shoot film, fujichrome was my only, way to go, on film!
My favorite was Provia 100F. Most of the times I was using Sensia 100 though and more rare Velvia 50!
I sometimes look at them and I enjoy the plasticity of the deep saturated colors, the wonderful tones and the amazing contrast.

Nice photo! I like the small details in the clouds over the mountain and the deep textures!
The 50mm is one of my favorite focal lengths (prime only) and I have quite a few. They are amazing for landscapes. They have simple lens formulas with great detail contrast and color rendering (depending on the lens model and design of course).
I use them from time to time for landscape photos with great results for my expectations.

Thanks, I was so pleased with with how the topaz made this image so much better as well. I love my Tokina 11-16mm now as a landscape image. I find now that taking out one lens challenges me, like the prime 50mm. Now i have said that, i must do it again soon.
