I chose to post this picture in the "Rural landscape" forum because it shows the terraced vineyards of Lavaux. But I could also have chosen "Mountain landscape", or even "Seascape", as Léman is almost a small inland sea...
This photo was taken this morning, March 23, 2023, in Epesses (they make excellent white wine there!) as the sky was starting to look threatening.

WOW stunning views you have there. I envy you, living in such a beautiful place. What type of vines are these? Do you know?

Thank you lightmuncher lightmuncher. Yes, the majority grape variety is Chasselas. The area is beautiful, yes, but the beauty of nature can be found almost anywhere. For example, I would love to go and do some photography in Scotland or in the Lake District.

That looks a lovely location, and some great leadins. Just a thought, have you tried dehazing the mountains? I just tried and it worked really well, you'd have to be careful of your sky becoming too apocalyptic but it really made the mountains pop in my view.

Thanks for the suggestion M markmullen. I dehazed the sky a bit but not the mountains. I'll try to see what it looks like with the mountains.

You were right, I did a test and the mountains come out better with a little dehaze on them.
Here is the result.

Very nice. I'm always a bit wary of critiquing another photographer's work as art is such a subjective thing. I think the edit works a treat.

No problem for me. On the contrary, I like to be told what goes well and what doesn't with my photos. That's the purpose of this forum for me. That's the way to progress.
