I took this a few years ago when we stayed in a friend's caravan for a long weekend. Not my favourite place along this section of the UK. Taken with D5000 - 100-300mm Nikon f5.6 lens.
This guy seems to be busy going up and down the surf, but by the looks of his bucket, he isn't doing this on a large commercial bases. My guess is that he is selling to local restaurants. Here are a couple of shots of him within the sea landscape.......

Loving the first, closer shot here, it conveys hard work for what looks like little but probably worth while reward.
