Mount Kitheron
1 hour and 20' from my home is a favorite location which I often visit.
Mount Kitheron is one of the mountains (mountainline) which is around Athens / Attica region. This mountain line with other mountains in essence adjust the climate of Attica. They function as natural barriers that stop all the weather coming from around and usually smooth it. This is why Attica is rumored to have one of the best climates. When I reach on the top always the landscape is breath taking and weather phenomena are interesting. Today behind the mountain there was a cloud cover which I could enjoy from above. From the other side the sky was cometely clear. In the next days I will showcase more photos.
Altitude on the top is almost 2000meters
