St Peter and St Paul’s Pickering, a part of the Church of England Diocese of York.

The early Norman Church was built around 1140. But did have a Saxon church on this site, and during William the Conqueror’ times.

And does houses some of the best larger medieval wall paintings, which were probably first commissioned in 1450.

Lovely church, although I think it would be better if the floor was horizontally straight.

Nice pov and nice image! I will agree with Andy Smith Andy Smith. It needs to be straighten. The painterly effect is also interesting. Although it is not my cup of tea I have to admit that it adds to the image.

I would agree with everyone on this thread, the photo would look better if everything would be straightened. But not bad photo.

Great Shot! I don't mind the tilted image so much. I love the colors! The wood looks so warm and inviting.
