Took this on a lousy day last year I think? Light was as dull as dish water, but managed to pic something out of it whilst editing. Sadly I have some runaway black on the bottom right where the shrubs and river meet. I gave up after a while trying to rectify it.

I had family living in Sleaford many years ago, and I fondly remember the place although it has been more than 35 years since I was there last.
Nice image from a wonderful town, although I actually think there is slightly too much foreground and a tighter crop would produce a more interesting shot.

I was torn between two images, I like this one and I liked the tighter shot which is what you said would be better. Decided though to work on the other image though until I am happy with it. Always happy to have another view point.

Looking at the two images side by side, I think I will reverse my original thoughts as I actually prefer the first wider view shot. It is a close call though but the wider shot draws me in more and keeps my attention longer. I love the old brickwork and foliage, a very serene scene, nicely captured.

Agree, I wanted to go back further, but the scene was total carnage to the image. If I get a chance later will post it
