Sunrise Of Uncertainty

Some images are more than the scene or event they display. Some images are stop-time moments that carry emotions, events, promises and hidden outcomes. Such an image is this one. Taken very far away from my hometown. In a place where I lived some of my very very strong moments of my life. It was a sunrise of beautiful colours, feelings and memories. Moments of things that started with the most beautiful promises that ended up in a spiral of unexpected situations that brought me to a shocking change. From a beautiful start to a very hard situation I managed to find the strength to leave.
Looking back at my photos I see more than just an image. My images are 'dressed' with my emotions that are driven by the given situations of the time being captured.
This one is reedited and slightly darkened to match the 'more balanced' way I think of the situations of that time.

Taken in Khalkidhiki on a hidden beautiful small beach. Next to me that day was the strongest love of my life. The original 'finished' version of this photo was a lot brighter.
The most beautiful and ideal things in life don't last for too long. Most of the times end with the most unexpected way.

And I know.
For the most people it is just a beach with some nice rocks and beautiful warm sunrise colours and a peaceful sea...

Nicely done panos_adgr,
Nice leading lines, the foreground detail is good, wonderful tones throughout and I really like the pastel colours in the sky.
A very nice peaceful, serene image which would look great as large print I think.

Very serene scene, lovely sunrise colours. The rocks make a nice leading line. The mountains in the horizon make a nice break in texture and colour and add a nice sense of distance. Very nice photo. Amazing how a photo can transport us back to earlier times and memories. Thank you for sharing 🙏

Thank you!
It is just a simple seascape. I like it because it is a bit minimal.
I have also another photo of rocks from the same spot just a few meters away. I'll upload it.
