The Rocks
Rocks is a very favourite subject!
I like them because I can make nice long exposures and create texture and form contrast smoothing out the water and making the rocks stand out.
In these photos I used my Nikon D7200 body in combination with my almost 60year old, radioactive Vintage Auto Rikenon 55mm f/1.4 lens for which I've made a special thread here.
It was more of an experiment, using my Auto Rikenon for long exposure. This lens is super sharp when stopped to f/4.0 - f/8.0.
The slight warm tint is because of the three radioactive Thoriated elements of the lens which have a slight brown coloration / tint because of the Thorium. It goes away if the lens is left under a UV lamp for 1-2 days.
