Opinion wanted To my eyes, this would make a good landscape painting

I took this a few years ago when we lived a few miles from where we are now in Lincolnshire. I look at this image and think it would make a landscape artist's dream to paint. Taken with my older Nikon D5000, and I have forgotten the 18-22mm lens make I had back then? Just love the copper beech colours and early summer green trees. Everything just look fresh and green.

I couldn't agree more with you! This is the type of composition I imagine the artist John Constable would have used, he did tend to favour some kind of water albeit river, lake or pond in most of his paintings. A really great shot, have you had it put on canvas? If not I think you should. Well done.

Thank you for the positive review. Not yet thought about putting it on any canvas, but its a thought I shall now ponder on. Thank you

The colours, the composition and that horse looking at you make the whole thing work very well.

Its certainly a lovely pastoral scene, as Phil rightly suggests it'd make a pleasing canvas.
