Hi Ruedas, thank you for your comment, I thought the same. I don't know if the owners of the property added the wheel for decorative reasons, but it does make a good photo.

A beautiful image. As for the working mill, I am guessing there would have been a water chute to redirect the water back in ye olden days. Maybe somewhere there is an historic website showing how it use to look and work?

I thought that too, running where the little terrace/balcony is perhaps?
