I'd set off to photograph some foggy landscapes and on the way back down I had to stop to try and capture the last of the mist that was parting the water of this lake. Lac de Bret, in the Valée de Joux, is a small, unassuming lake, but in the morning, when the autumn mist clears, it is transformed into a majestic setting worthy of the Lord of the Rings...
