As the rice fields around me are all flooded at the moment, the local farmers tend to use homemade boats to float around the fields fishing for catfish, which travel across the fields during this time of year. The boats are simple but beautiful in their own unique way, and they work perfectly in the conditions.
I was out on my bicycle when I spotted this one, and as I didn't have my usual camera with me I just snapped a quickie with the phone.
I loved the colours of the orange boat against the green and blue of the rice and sky.
