A bit about me. Not the best guy to introduce myself. I have been in photography for 5+ years now, and had this passion since I was a kid. I didn't knew about it till I bought my first Camera 7D M2, which I'm using it till present and very happy...

A friend of mine recently rescued a spotted owlet here in Thailand. He found it laying by a remote country roadside, so he took it home, built an aviary for it and nursed it back to health.
The owl now calls for him at certain times of day, answers when my friend talks to it but is very friendly towards him and relies on him for food, which means it can probably never be released into the wild again and survive.
A wonderful bird though and a real pleasure to see one up so close and personal.

Bald Eagle taken with a Canon 7D and Tamron 28-300 lens on the Fox River in Elgin, Illinois. Hand-held from my kayak, September 2022.
Thats a wonderful, sharp, clear image Sthomas450, very nice against the pure blue background.

This photo was taken about 12 years ago on one of my old cameras, in the Kruger. It's not great but I think it has something?

Dassie - now known as the Rock Hyrax or Rockhopper, is a medium-sized terrestrial mammal native to Africa and the Middle East. It is the African elephant's closest living relative, in spite of the size difference. This was taken on top of "Table mountain."
