That‘s a lot. You need to check your car before the trip, to avoid any unexpected bad experience on the road. Is that cheaper to travel within the country than going abroad?

Not sure never gone abroad. I have a choice hotels credit card and if you spend $1000 your next 3 nights are free. Gas is 6.23 a gallon in California and the national average is 4.91. It kinda feels like saving at the pump. The car just got service.

That's not bad, here in UK the fuel price went up, and if driving somewhere far I need to think twice. Are you planning taking some images as well ?

Oah yah I am. Hitting yellowstone, arcadia, and glacier national parks. Not all will be landscape photos. Gunna try my hand at some cityscapes in the Chicago & baltimore. I'm a huge space nerd. Hitting up the titan missil silo in Arizona and the huston space center in texas as well.
