Photography Watermark

I am trying to create a new watermark. Only problem i have is the letter font. I downloaded several fonts but when i use them in photoshop they look different than on the site i downloaded them from. I am using a mac mini m1 with adobe photoshop 2023 to create the watermark. Anyone know of a good one to use that does not have very wide spaces between letters and is free for personal use?

Hi Theo, this is difficult to answer without knowing what the desired end result is.
If you looking for handwritten type fonts you could try:
1. Angelina
2. Autography
3. Brilliant signature

If you want standard type fonts try:
1. Bodoni 72
2. DIN condensed
3. Georgia
4. Noteworthy
5. Optima

These are just suggestions as I am unsure of what you want the final watermark to look like.

How do you edit something like this? How do you remove the text? I know how to add text but removing things and then adding new text is beyond my knowledge of photoshop.

Some nice images. But you need to know how to edit them. I know very simple basic things in photoshop but editing these files is not one of them.

Go with something similar to Aerial, so it will fit well within the logo.

Will have a look later today. Have to check it on a photo after converting it to brush. At 100% the file is a bit too small for my old eyes and at 2 or 300% the letters don't look good on the psd file. So i convert it to brush and then check what it looks like on a photo in different colours.

You will have to add some white edge as well to the logo, so it will visible on all images.
