A bit about me. Not the best guy to introduce myself. I have been in photography for 5+ years now, and had this passion since I was a kid. I didn't knew about it till I bought my first Camera 7D M2, which I'm using it till present and very happy...

Female Kingfisher I captured at a local to me pond in Hampshire. This was her favourite spot and I had 2 hours with her coming back and forth.
Taken with my Nikon Z6 and 200-500mm and edited using Lightroom mobile app

Goldfinch, Not the best shot but, I had been trying to catch this bird in our cherry tree for days. When I saw it this morning I just grabbed my camera and took the photo through our kitchen window. I just love the markings.

I took this photo a few days ago at Trimpley Reservoir, in Worcestershire. Canon 5D MK4, 100-400mm EF-MK2 lens. I believe it is a Great Cormorant, but not 100% sure. If anyone could confirm that would be great. The bird has taken up residency there for at least a couple of years, and always chooses buoy number 3 as his perching point.

I was a bit miffed, as I’d watched him for ages then he suddenly dived into the water. I readied my camera, but boy can they hold their breath and cover some distance under there. He eventually popped up, and caught me by surprise as he was now quite some way away, and had caught a fish. By the time I got my camera trained on him he’d all but swallowed the thing. It was all so quick as I was on him and in focus in well under 2 seconds I reckon. Mind you, birds aren’t ones for chewing their meals 😂

I'm not sure what bird this is, It looks like a common sparrow but the song it was singing was really beautiful not like any sparrow I have ever heard! It was taken in York, any ideas as to what it is? Imports - 4 of 13.jpeg
